Me suelen gustar los argumentos y la forma de narrarlos en el cine de Cesc Gay. A veces, incluso enrojezco al identificarme más de lo debido con lo que hacen o dicen o callan algunos de sus personajes. Y no son precisamente cosas heroicas, sino muy humanas, tramposillas, con anverso y reverso. Parte de este mundo antes se autodenominaba hipster. Luego, como ocurre con todas las modas, se borró el nombre. Cesc Gay posee talento, ironía, matices, gracia, complejidad. También puede ser divertido. Y reconocible siempre.
This American version of Cesc Gay’s comedy is directed by Olivia Wilde. This also interprets it. Neither one nor the other is going to be memorable for me.

At times, I even blush as I identify myself more than I should with what some of their characters do, say, or remain silent about.
